B2st/ 4 Minute@ YOG Celebration Concert

Okay, so we went to Youth Olympic Games Celebration Concert presented by Samsung at The Promontory @ Marina Bay on the 13th August.

B2st and 4 Minute were the special guests flown in from South Korea especially for this event. Before B2st and 4 Minute came out on stage, the concert was rather fail. The crowd was unreactive to singers such as Electrico and mild performances by VOX and such. Only when B2st and 4 Minute came out did the crowd get to its feet and standing on the chairs to catch a glimpse of their idols which they were here for. Security was rubbish that day as they let some public crowds who did not even bother to get tickets into the VIP areas.

4 minute came on first and performed ‘Hot Issue’, ‘Muzik’, ‘What a Girl Wants’, ‘HuH’ and 'Won't Give You". Then they came back on for an encore of 'Hot Issue'. The crowd obviously loves Hyunah. And there was a birthday song for the Maknae. She was so adorable. Next was B2st and they performed 'Bad Girl', 'Beast is the B2st', 'Special', 'Shock', 'Mystery' and 'Oasis'. I was very impressed they performing Oasis cause it was my favourite track off the Beast is the B2st album.

Overall the energy was awesome and the everyone was very energetic about both performances by the Korean Idols. It was very worth it as they performed over 1 hour worth of songs, much more than expected of Korean idols. :)

If the organizers wanted to save money they should have just allowed only B2st/ 4 minute to performed. Or they could have catered to the younger target crowd by asking campus superstar alumnis to perform instead of Electrico which I doubt most of the crowd goers that night would be listening to.
