Wow, its been a tiring and busy week recently with my work. At last, I got some spare time to post new message. There are many korean dramas launching out but the most I liked and would recommend is as below:
Witch Yoo Hee
(Starring Han Ga In, Jae Hee, Jun Hye Bin, Kim Jung Hoon, Dennis Oh)
Storyline:
Ma Yoo Hee (Han Ga In) is known as a witch for her ruthless and practical character. After a string of failed attempts to hire a housekeeper, she literally runs into Chae Moo Ryong (Jae Hee), ex-medical student turned aspiring chef. As a way to work off his debt for crashing into her car, he agrees to become her housekeeper and personal love affairs coach for one month. Gladly, he gives her a makeover that attracts both her old friend Johnny Kruger (Dennis Oh) and her first love Joon Ha (Kim Jeong Hoon). Despite having a girlfriend, Sung Mi (Jun Hye Bin), Moo Ryong eventually finds himself falling for Yoo Hee...
Remarks: The storyline is appealing and funny in the beginning when main actor and actress meet, then in the middle the story start to slow down. Overall, still quite good drama.
How to meet the perfect Neighbor
(Starring Kim Seung Woo , Bae Doo Na , Park Shi Hoo, Kim Sung Ryung)
Storyline:
Baek Soo Chan has nothing in his hands but lives a life under the belief that he will become the man which every woman craved for.
However, his belief is questioned when he starts to realize true love. When playboy Baek Soo-Chan meets his match Jung Yoon-Hee, he goes absolutely crazy! His once blissful life of messing around with women has become something of the past ever since Yoon Hee started to make snide remarks to him so as to protect her older sister from being cheated by his playboy ways.
Yoo Joon Suk is the heir to his father's very successful company. He is forced to come back and take over his father's company when his father suddenly collapses. Yoon Hee then becomes Joon Suk's assistant and falls for her boss. Will Joon Suk return her feelings and will they be able to be together despite his mother's objections?
Remarks: In the beginning, the drama is abit slow mode, however, the storyline starts to pick up in the middle. Good drama.
Oh Soo Jung
(Oh Ji Ho, Uhm Jung Hwa, Kang Sung Jin, Park Da An)
Storyline:
Go Man Soo is a world known golf player who was dumped by a former beauty queen, Oh Soo Jung, seven years ago. Their fate becomes reversed when Oh Soo Jung who is now known as an old maid comes chasing after Man Soo who is now a 'golden bachelor' with good looks and money.
Remarks: This drama is appealing in every epsiode.
Jumong
(Starring Hur Jun Ho, Han Hye Jin, Chun Kwang Ryul, Oh Yeon Soo)
Storyline:
Jumong is the name of the legendary founder of Goguryeo, King Dongmyeongseong. The story starts with the conflict between Gojoseon, an ancient Korean kingdom, and Han Chinese forces, eventually leading to a fragmented Korean Peninsula. Hero-in-the-making Jumong (Song Il Kook, Emperor of the Sea) is born in this time of chaos and struggle in the little independent state of Buyeo. He quickly finds himself the most unlikely of princes and the victim of a rivalry with his brother Dae So (Kim Seung Soo, A Million Roses). He is forced to choose between the boyish charm of young merchant So Seo No (Han Hye Jin; Be Strong, Geum Soon!) and the innocent smile of Bu Yeong (Im So Young), a servant he's known for years. Through dangerous trials and painful lessons of the heart, Jumong must rise to the occasion to unite the land and bring peace to his people.
Remarks:
Jumong is the next hot topic after daejungdeum and Hwang Jin Yi with its impressive storyline and the fantastic performance by all actors and actress. Jumong is one of the hugely popular historical drama which dominated television screens during its broadcast, attracting 40% of the viewership rating in Korea.
