SNSD’s first album topped Japanese music stores’ pre-order charts

Album studio pertama SNSD’s ‘Girls’ Generation ‘yang akan resmi dirilis pada tanggal 1 Juni di situs musik Jepang dan pre-order pada 16 Mei.
Hanya 8 bulan setelah debut Jepang mereka pada bulan September tahun lalu, SNSD akan merilis album Jepang pertama mereka yang meliputi lagu-lagu hit mereka sebelumnya seperti ‘Genie’, ‘Gee’ dan ‘Mr.Taxi’. Setelah pre-order dibuka di Amazon Jepang, Deluxe Edition,album mereka dijual seperti kue panas dan naik menjadi no.1 di chart pre-order sementara Limited Edition menduduki peringkat 5.

Sementara itu, 3 edisi SNSD’s ‘Girls’ Generation ‘meraih posisi #3 di chart pre-order CD Jepang. Pada HMV Jepang, Deluxe Edition menduduki peringkat 1 sementara Limited Edition di #2.

SNSD First Japanese Tour in May!

SNSD will have their first arena tour concert in Japan on May 18th. The tour will start at Tokyo’s Yoyogi stadium, and then move onto Nagoya, Osaka, and then onto Fukuoka.

Considering their first showcase before their official debut in Japan attracted over 22,000 viewers, this tour is expected to be a battle for tickets.

In related news, SNSD is currently readying for their next single in Japan with “Mr. Taxi,” which is planned to be released April.

[News] SM Entertainment donates $1 million USD to Japanese disaster relief

On March 17th, SM Entertainment announced that they have donated $1 million USD to the relief effort in Japan.

Representatives spoke through Star News and stated, “Staff members and artists under the agency have extended their consolation to those affected by the natural disasters affecting Japan. In order to aid in their quick recovery, SM Entertainment has put their hearts into a donation of $1 million USD to the Red Cross Society.”
They continued, “SM Entertainment, our artists, and the citizens of Korea will be supporting the Japanese with one heart so that they do not lose strength and the hope to overcome.”
